To honour the memory of Professor Maurice Godet, a prize awards the best presentation / paper by a young scientist.
The following criteria apply:
- The principal (first) author is a registred PhD student or has defended his PhD in 2017.
- The principal author presents the work at the symposium.
- The majority of the work presented has been performed by the first author.
- The principal author submits a full length paper in the Special Issue of either Tribology International or Journal of Engineering Tribology, before the 28th of July the 20th of August
The Maurice Godet prize is awarded during the closure session and consists of a plaque and a cheque of 1000 €.
